RIGA CIRCUS
The Riga Circus is becoming a contemporary art centre – a place where different disciplines of art – circus, theatre, dance, music and cinema – come together; and here’s much to see, find out and learn for people of all ages and interests.
Spectators must see a really good and modern circus, yet the circus is not just a spectacle, it is also understanding, passion and development of one’s own abilities.
The classes in the newly created Riga Circus School can be attended by children as well as adults. You can find out about the circus by participating in “Conversations about the Circus”; a residencies programme is also planned.
Since its very establishment, the Riga Circus has been an attractive venue for cultural life of Riga, and it should always remain so.
